Czech blown glass BOMMA
Design with respect to tradition
The purely Czech company Bohemia Machines was founded in 1992. Initially, it focused mainly on the production of grinding machines, robots and production lines for the glass industry. 20 years later, the company opened the new Bomma glassworks, one of the most modern in Europe. It combines traditional glassmaking with innovative technology and design to produce exclusive crystal components, beverage and decorative products with the highest whiteness index. Bomma cooperates with both Czech and foreign designers. Its products can be regularly seen at exhibitions such as Designblok or Tim Burton's World.
About Bomma
Bomma is based on the design and traditions of Czech glassmaking using the most modern technologies. The company is driven forward by a desire for perfection, constantly pushing its limits and pushing the boundaries of its industry. Bomma produces up to 6 tons of extremely high quality crystal per day. The glass is then refined using technologies that have been uniquely designed for this purpose.
Today, Bomma has the opportunity to work with a wide range of renowned global brands and business partners, to whom it not only provides the product itself, but more importantly the development of products according to their most demanding ideas and requirements. They pass on their technological know-how and experience to designers and architects in order to bring the final products closer to perfection. First-class design speaks for itself, Bomma enjoys working with glass immensely.

Bomma is primarily dedicated to custom production for a wide range of industries. With their own glassworks, top quality lead-free crystal and state-of-the-art technology, they are able to satisfy even the most demanding clients. Their customers include both luxury global brands, for which Bomma supplies special limited products, and the company also provides mass production in the field of gift items, beverage and decorative glass, lighting fixtures or large architectural works. Some of the most famous clients include Chanel, Dior, Luis Vuitton and Pilsen Urquell.
Projects from the company's workshop
Bomma products have added beauty to many an exclusive project. The popular Shibari lights shone in a unique villa project in the heart of Costa Rica. In a place where nature meets luxury, the lights have an exclusive, eye-catching effect without disturbing the character of the interior. BOMMA also furnished the showroom of a luxury apartment complex in Prague with design accessories , as you can see in the middle photo. In a mountain cabin situated in the middle of the Norwegian forests, the organic shapes of the Soap lights stand out beautifully, complementing the cosy atmosphere of the cabin's interior.
