Aleš Kachlík
Young Czech designer Aleš Kachlík, currently known as Aleš Boem, designs furniture, lighting and products. He also creates art or architectural projects in both minimalist and maximalist styles. He first studied product design at the University of Ústí nad Labem, then went to Brussels to study interior design and completed his master's degree at UMPRUM in the D3 studio under the guidance of Olgoj Chorchoj.
His own collection of glasses, award-winning design of urban furniture in Prague, for which he received the Red Dot Design Award, collaboration with well-known companies. All this belongs to his work. In addition, he was also the creative director of the MEYTO brand. He designed the BOHÉM collection of seating furniture for the company. Now the author is working on his own brand Boem with 3D printed decorations and accessories. Some models can even be printed by the customer.
