Antonio de Marco
Antonio de Marco studied at the Politecnico di Milano, the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and received his Master's degree from the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. In addition to his design work, he teaches in the Master's course in Design Methodology at NABA in Milan and at the Scuola Politecnica del Design. Since his youth, Antonio has been attending engineering and joinery workshops, which are a constant stimulus for him to search, create and experiment with new ways of transforming matter. He is passionate about how things are made, what elements they are composed of, what they are used for and for whom. The objects he designs have the ambition not to be lost in time and to settle in the memory of those who use them. In 2009, he was one of the founders of the design studio 4P1B. In June 2017 he opened his new studio, Antonio de Marco Studio, where he continues to research, experiment and design.
