Antonio Minervini

Antonio Minervini was born in southern Italy in a small seaside town. He started painting at the age of 15 and moved to Venice at the age of 18, where he studied architecture at the Venice School of Architecture. In Venice he exhibited in group and solo exhibitions. He participated in various competitions, including the Bevilaqua La Masa Young Artists Competition and won the international art prize "La Colomba". In 1992 he was awarded the Swatch Emotion Prize.

In recent years he has been exploring the mystery of figuration. In December 2019, he opened a solo exhibition "Simple is Complicated" in Udine, Italy with his latest works. In addition to painting, he is also an interior designer and has shown his unique talent especially in the Garbo collection he created for Montbel.
