Daniele Della Porta
Architect and designer Daniele Della Porta has been a success story from the very beginning of his career. After studying with Professor Filippo Alison in Naples in 2005, he designed, for example, the Incline table, which won the Vero Legno Award in the "Young and Design 2007" competition during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. He also gained attention for the renovation of a villa in Cava de' Tirreni. He has also continued the family tradition, building on the practice of his father, Arch. Gerardo Della Porta, whose studio has been in operation since 1973.
In 2007, he founded the handmade furniture brand Puntolargo with cabinetmaker Roberto Lepre and upholsterer Salvatore Pepe, reaping many successes and awards while continuing to work in architecture. He also became famous for his collection of marble basins and his collaboration with the Calia Italia brand. He has also been involved in the artistic direction of companies and projects, has published in prestigious magazines and, last but not least, teaches product design at the University of Naples Federico II.
