David Ericsson

David Ericsson is from Småland, Sweden. After studying art, design and architecture, he graduated in 2010 with a degree in furniture design from Carl Malmsten. Today, he runs his own studio in Sweden with a focus on furniture design, and is also a teacher at his alma mater.

He says that the spirit of the times is important in his work, as we live in a world full of change. Therefore, his goal is to focus on this spirit in order to develop quality and interesting products that will not only appear on the market for a short period of time. He tries to position his design services for long-term functionality, because of the possibility of evolving his products to meet the new needs of a changing environment.
