Ebbe Gehl

Ebbe Gehl is a very experienced Danish designer in the furniture industry. Ebbe was originally trained as a cabinetmaker at Rud Rasmussen in Copenhagen. He then studied furniture architecture (Copenhagen School of Decorative Arts) and co-founded the design company Nissen & Gehl in 1970. Today Ebbe Gehl designs furniture for companies in Europe, Thailand and China, among many others. He has worked closely with the Danish company DAN-FORM Denmark, and his work is very much influenced by Scandinavian style and Nordic pride with the hygge attitude of life that is inherent in the Danes.
