Emiliana Design Studio

Emiliana Design Studio is a Barcelona-based design firm founded in 1996 by Ana Mir and Emili Padrós. The studio has earned a great reputation for its innovative and unconventional designs that challenge traditional notions of design and push the boundaries of creativity. Ana Mir and Emili Padrós met in London while studying for a Masters in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design. After graduating, they founded Emiliana Design Studio with the aim of creating designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also environmentally and socially responsible.

Emiliana Design Studio combines product, furniture and lighting design with the creation of ephemeral spaces and exhibitions. The vision is based on experimentation and exploration in new areas and aims to make the relationships between objects, spaces and users as exciting, participatory and creative as possible. Some of their designs are now part of the French Fonds National d'Art Contemporain, the Barcelona Museum of Decorative Arts, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The studio is also known for its collaborations with other designers and brands. It has worked with companies such as BD Barcelona, Lékué and Moroso.
