Fabian Baumann and Sönke Hoof are two designers who decided to join forces in 2006 to form Formfjord. All the work of this creative duo is characterised by functionality and economy. The production uses modern technology and the design of each piece evokes vivid emotions. Fabian Baumann and Sönke Hoof's work focuses on the play of light and shadow, shapes and contrasts.

Fabian Baumann studied mechanical engineering and then product design. Sönke Hoof studied industrial design and now teaches in addition to his work. The designers now work on products and design objects that people use in everyday life. These include products such as the CIRCUS collection, which they designed for Offecct.
