Formidable Studio

Clear and simple, yet unique in its own way. That's the design of interior designer Giulia Ciccarese and architect Devis Busato, who work together under the Formidable Studio brand. In their work, they are intensely concerned with specific objects and places. They analyse the meanings and connections between things, asking for the consequences of the actions we take in our lives every day. They let different materials intermingle with each other, where they constantly innovate the established ways of using production technology. This is also why Formidable Studio's furniture boasts a minimalist yet unmistakable identity and a versatile language.

The creative duo from Venice came together in 2014. The name Formidable refers to working with forms and the character and potential hidden inside objects, but also to the creative process that is an integral part of the design profession. Interior and concept design by Formidable stands out for its multidisciplinary nature and respect for values. For example, Giulie and Devis created the KAI table for the Italian brand Infiniti , which is inspired by Japanese culture and is literally an embodied symbol of interpersonal relationships.
