Fran Silvestre

Fran Silvestre is a Spanish architect born in 1976. After graduating in 2001 with honours in architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Valencia, he began to specialise in urban planning at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where he also obtained the highest ranking. During his stay in the Netherlands he worked with the architectural firm MVRDV. Later, he received a scholarship to work in the studio of the Pritzker Prize-winning Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza. Since 2006 he has also been teaching as a professor at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and since 2009 at the Universidad Europea. In 2016, he received his PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
