Gio Tirotto

Italian designer Gio Tirotto has been running his own studio since 2010. His practice focuses mainly on interior projects, product design and exhibition activities. He builds his successful know-how on a solid foundation of thorough initial research and then on the search for the ideal intersection between product form and functionality. "In my work, I always try to build a bridge that connects the fundamental idea and the unique message of each object. This, for me, represents the basic artistic language through which I aspire to express myself," Gio Tirotto explains his methodology.

Gio Tirotto' s creativity unfolds around the existences that surround him on a daily basis, both animate and inanimate. If, in the course of his work, he encounters an apparent discrepancy between art and design, he immediately seeks to erase it. He then attempts to design entirely new connections in the complicated world of people and objects. Based on his experience, Gio therefore believes that only from the combination of our rituals, memory and imagination can something completely new and original be born.
