Italo Pertichini

Italo Pertichini, who was born in Switzerland, moved to Italy to complete his artistic education at the San Giovanni Art Institute in Fiore (CS) and then completed his technical-aesthetic training at the ISIA in Rome. This double and different education completely influences his design activities. In fact, his philosophy is to create objects that have simple shapes and strong functionality.

Pertichini says: "What is beautiful doesn't always work and what works is not beautiful. Beautiful and useful may seem reductive, but it has always been the essence of design." His career began with a collaboration with Gallotti and Radice, where he was not only a designer but also a consultant. In 2001, he opened his own design studio in Milan. He specializes in industrial design and interior design and his extraordinary works can be found in Adrenalina's collections.
