Jorge Najera

Jorge Najera studied in Mexico and Italy before deciding to open his own design studio in Pavia. Perfectly able to exploit the potential of rotational moulding technology in his work, his creations are products for everyday use, but unusually designed. For this reason, he collaborates with the most important design brands in Mexico and Italy. His products are multi-purpose and besides design, Jorge Najera loves new technologies and reinterpretations of existing materials, techniques and technologies already used in other fields.

The Light Drink container, created by Jorge Najera for Slide, resembles the playful shape of a glass. Light Drink is a multifunctional and luminous design object and belongs to the typical production of polyethylene furniture - it is an atmospheric lamp, but at the same time it is an ice bucket that gives an unusual touch for indoor and outdoor events. Jumbo Corner, designed for the same company, is a versatile and modular bar counter. It can be used as a light corner to create a modern atmosphere in small areas or can elegantly complete a bar counter with the Jumbo Bar. The modular and light corner bar with its angular shape is ideal for commissions and events requiring a modern flair.
