Jorge Pensi
Jorge Pensi was born in Buenos Aires in 1946, where he studied architecture. He left Argentina in 1975, dreaming of new horizons and challenges. After crossing the ocean, he settled in Barcelona and became a Spanish citizen. During this time he formed a partnership with Alberto Lievor and later founded his own studio in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Pensi believes that part of his professional success is due to the intimate, close and warm relationship he has with his team and his clients, allowing the development of shared projects with optimal results. Jorge Pensi has held conferences, seminars and workshops all over the world, has been awarded numerous prizes and has received wide recognition throughout his career, including the Spanish National Design Award in 1997 by the Ministry of Industry and Energy for outstanding professional achievement.
Jorge Pensi's design team includes Diego Slemenson, Constanze Schütz, Roman Proubasta and Toni Casares. He and his team work for well-known interior design brands such as Vondom and Pedrali.
