Kauppi & Kauppi

The multidisciplinary Swedish design studio Kauppi & Kauppi has a large collection of prestigious awards to its credit. It focuses on Scandinavian austerity enriched with innovation and added values. This makes each project unique, whether it is a large spatial concept or a small object. Nina and Johan Kauppi look for inspiration in the city and in nature and interesting people. They graduated from HDK-Valand, the Academy of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg in 2006, and then spent ten years gaining experience in Sweden and abroad. In 2016 they set up their own studio.

Nina Kauppi specializes in product and industrial design of smaller objects. Her collaborations include collections for Tiffany & Co in New York. Johan Kauppi has experience on the other side of the spectrum, with large-scale architectural designs ranging from furniture to bridges to exhibitions. His collections of lighting and everyday objects for the home and public spaces have won several German Design Awards, Best of Year Awards and more.
