Lorenza Bozzoli
Lorenza Bozzoli was born in Milan. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Arts in the 1980s. In 1985 she started working as a stylist for Fiorucci, Basile, Plein Sud, Sergio Rossi and Camper. Since 1996 she has been passionate about industrial design and has worked with international companies such as Alessi, Dedon, Moooi, Dilmos, Colè, Tato, Spazio Pontaccio and Tog. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy (Triennale, Milan) and abroad (Cooper Hewitt, New York). In 2013 she won the European Award for Excellence in Sustainable Design with her chair Phaedrus, designed for Dedon. Besides designing, she has also lectured at IED on the possibilities of integrating trends in creative strategy.
Bozzoli has lived part of her life in New York, but her travels have brought her back to her hometown, the world city of fashion. Today she lives and works in Milan in her studio at 54 Foro Bonaparte. In 2015, she launched her collaboration with Slamp and designed the LA LOLLO collection. Another important collaboration is with the brand Slide, for which she created, for example, the MARA collection or the original PUPA and CUCUN lamps.
