Marco Piva

Marco Piva studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano and after graduating he founded his own brand Studio Marco Piva with activities including large architectural projects for tourist facilities, interior design and industrial design. From 1987 to 1990 he was a member of the Presidential Council of the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI). Afterwards, Marco Piva also founded IDA, International Design Agency, the Italian interface for the World Design Network system.

In the meantime, he used his experience to take up teaching positions at universities and design institutes in Italy and abroad, and carried out the organization of the postgraduate master's program at the Politecnico di Milano, the Polytechnic School of Design and the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. His work in interior design can be found in Pedrali's collections.
