Michele Menescardi

Michele Menescardi was born in 1979 in Italy and studied Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan. After graduating, he started his career as a freelance designer and his strength is interacting with different subjects and developing each project from idea to production. In 2005 he founded MrSmith Studio, where he worked for almost ten years. During his professional career he has worked with several design and architecture studios and creative agencies.

His style is playful and unconventional, always striving to create an object that holds more than meets the eye. An example of his style is the Container Van he created for Plust. What was initially an inconspicuous toy car can suddenly become a container used to store toys.
