Nadadora
Cristina Alonso and Isaac Piñeiro founded the Nadadora studio in Valencia in 2006. Cristina graduated in graphic design from the Valencia Design School and has worked in the design industry with the graphic department of Luzifer Lamps and the Dídac Ballester Disseny studio. Isaac is a design graduate, having studied at the same university as Cristina. He then obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Design at Milan Polytechnic, where he studied alongside emerging designers such as Odoardo Fioravanti, Huub Ubbens and Matali Crasset.
Nadadora's work, which encompasses graphics, furniture and lighting, is particularly appreciated for its conceptual honesty and formal simplicity. For the past two years, together with Pedro Ochando' s studio, they have organized an exhibition of young Spanish designers called Zoco. They have participated in exhibitions and conferences in Spanish cities and others around the world, including Milan, Helsinki, Seoul, Paris and New York.
