Pietro Arosio

Pietro Arosio was born in Lissone, near Milan, on 20 March 1946. After obtaining his high school diploma at the Institute of Applied Arts in Monza, he acquired a professional foundation in the research and development centre of AF&F, a company specialising in the production of metal furniture for public buildings and areas. He began his independent career in 1972 and made an effective contribution to the design of fitted kitchens in 1978: the quality of his work was recognised when he won the first Casaviva d'Oro award in 1983. Some of his works have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the Museum of Modern Art Die Sammlung in Munich.
