Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson is the former Global Creative Director at Nike and Senior Designer at IDEO. Currently a design entrepreneur and founder of MINIMAL (MNML), a design studio in Chicago. MINIMAL was founded in 2007. His vision was to create a hybrid design studio that combined his love for consulting with the world's leading brands, collaborating with start-ups, and an intense passion for entrepreneurial ventures.

Wilson has a broad remit ranging from technology, medical and consumer products to lifestyle, furniture and environmental. He can be described as a master at balancing the rational and the emotional, the intersection of technology and art, as well as business and consumer needs. He maintains a hands-on approach along with skills that flow seamlessly through the roles of inventor, designer, storyteller, strategist, entrepreneur and engineer. He boasts a placement in TIME magazine's top 100 designers and was recently named one of Fast Company magazine's most influential designers.
