Simon Pengelly

Simon Pengelly was born in 1967 in Oxfordshire. His journey in design began at an early age when he showed his exceptional talent as a cabinet maker. Pengelly's passion for design eventually led him to formal training in the field. He studied at Rycotewood College where he honed his skills and expanded his knowledge of furniture making. After graduating, he went on to study at Kingston Polytechnic, graduating in 1988. In 1993 he took a significant step forward by setting up his own design studio. This step allowed him to explore his creative vision and develop a distinctive style that has become synonymous with his name.

Pengelly's design philosophy revolves around creating functional yet aesthetic pieces of furniture and lighting. His work often exhibits a harmonious balance between form and function, combining innovative ideas with practicality. His designs are known for their clean lines, elegant simplicity and elaborate details.
