Stefano Bettio

Stefano Bettio started by studying mechanical engineering and technical materials science, before working in the R&D division of office furniture manufacturer Brado. At Brado he designed his first products - chairs, which were an immediate success. He further developed his knowledge of materials and three-dimensional modelling. After a few years, Bettio moved to Palluccoitalia, where he worked in the engineering, research and development division of the Bellato brand, working with a wide range of materials. This gave him additional design expertise.

In 2005 he became a freelance designer for furniture manufacturers including Bellato International, Zanaboni, Mimo Salotti, DeDe Design, Metalmeccanica Alba and many others. He currently lives and works in Montebelluna, Italy, where he continues to design and explore the use of materials, for which he focuses on usability, practicality and combining.
