Teresa Sapey
Teresa Sapey is a contemporary architect who, after graduating from Facoltà d'Architettura del Politecnico di Torino, went on to study Bfa Doctorado en Bellas Artes at Parson's School of Design de París and then at the University of Architecture "La Villete" in Paris. She worked with designers Albert Pinto and Jacques Garcia and later moved from Paris to Madrid. In another collaboration with architect Rafael de la Hoz, she founded her own studio , Teresa Sapey+Partners, which specializes in avant-garde design for luxury homes, shops, restaurants, parks and hotels, along with industrial design. She designs energy spaces for different sectors.
Her projects are based on emotions and feelings. The aim is to create a result that contributes to the best possible feelings of the users of the space. The scheme is supported by humour, colours, harmony with the users and the purpose of the space. Her personal style speaks of freedom of thought and expression. She mixes creativity, efficiency and art in the best way, resulting in spaces that clearly communicate ideas. She currently teaches at the Universidad Camilo José Cela. In addition, she is a lecturer in the Master in Interior Design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a member of the RIBA ("Royal Institute British Architect"). She participates in conferences at Carleton University Ottawa, Mc Gil University Montreal, University of Waterloo Cambridge and others.
