The Spanish manufacturer designs visually stunning pieces that cease to be mere clocks and accessories and become an equal part of homes, offices, reception areas and various other types of facilities. The three main characteristics of Nomon clocks are creativity, design and technology. The company's chief designer is José Maria Reina, who puts his talent and creativity into the watches. His designs are innovative and transcendental thanks to the final shape and material chosen. You will love the avant-garde design, originality and quality of Nomon's handmade watches.
Design by José María Reina
The designer of Nomon was and will be José María Reina, his designs are innovative and transcendental in both form and choice of materials. José puts the aesthetic value of the watch at the forefront, bringing beauty to an otherwise everyday object. He refers to his clocks as pieces of furniture that mark time and are able to measure the rhythm of their existence. As for the materials used to make the clocks, according to José, any material, however unusual it may seem, can look great if treated with objectivity and using the right criteria. José María Reina belongs to the generation that promoted Barcelona as a reference city in the field of industrial design, thanks to his designs the wall clock has acquired the status of a prestigious decorative piece that is significant for both home, office or public spaces.
The manufacturing process
Each piece is unique, all clocks are handmade. You may find slight variations on the product, this is because all clocks are handmade from natural materials. The strength of the product lies in the careful process and attention to detail. Although the clock is of Spanish origin, we find a German-made movement.
Also remarkable are the materials from which the clock is made, the vast majority being steel or wood. The steel products consist of high quality thin stainless steel with various finishes. The use of high-quality steel makes the hands much stronger and more durable than aluminum or plastic materials, which are often used in cheaper alternatives. The wooden clock is made from walnut wood and is finished with a matt transparent protective varnish.
All the wood used is FSC certified, proving that it is obtained through managed and sustainable logging.
